Kartik (non-binary) has an engineering and management background, having completed their Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, from the University of Warwick, and having completed their Masters Degree in Manufacturing Management, from the University of Hertfordshire. They received a Distinction in their Manufacturing Management degree. Kartik has also worked in a variety of industries, working in Hasmotek Ltd. in an internship investigating heat loss within the factory, as well as working in Joule Limited, working on a PV Certificate for Solar Panels. They also completed an AI Intelligence Course from Oxford University – this focused mostly on the business impacts of AI, its effects on the workforce, and the ability of AI to entrench and exacerbate existing inequalities when programmed with human bias. Kartik has also worked briefly in Sales and Marketing, acquiring an ability to gain interdisciplinary knowledge and expertise, and they have a broad range of research interests, having completed their final-year Masters Dissertation on Electric vehicles.
